The popularity of the site is a very broad concept as it is well known among the Internet users. Google proves to world that a website which is having more back links leads to better content and link popularity. They use this algorithm in there ranking system which is known as Google Page Rank. High Page Rank means higher in the back links and in the link popularity.

To measure the web page link to other pages you must use the search engines. On many occasions, most of the people use a search tool or aid that explains how you can do this in search engines. For example, Google includes this option in there tips and you must use it to search for back links. The query is “link:” followed by the address of your link, this will bring up the pages having your link as a back link.
