Trends in Surgery Aim to Give Mothers Their Pre-pregnancy Bodies Back

You may have heard the term before, and maybe you yourself have considered it. The latest trend in Los Angeles plastic surgery is the “Mommy Makeover.” Here in LA, where celebrities roam the city streets among us normal people, some recent Hollywood mothers have bodies that look as if they never were pregnant in the first place. But it seems the trend has now become popular with non-celebrity mothers as well. Los Angeles plastic surgeons report that their largest demographic are mothers between the ages of 20 and 39.

The term Mommy Makeover is more of a marketing term rather than a surgical one. Each mommy makeover is individualized to the body type and expectations of the patient.
