Important Flash Components To Build A Complete Website
Now making a Flash website very appealing and interesting is very simple with the Flash components. These components (Flash MX 2004) were released in September 2003. The specialty of these components is that their runtime performance is eight times more with the latest compilers. There are also hi-fi components which help in extending the functionality of the Flash website with absolutely no or very little coding. This means that the only drawback of Flash (longer loading time) would also be taken care of by these components. One of the most important Flash components is the menu.
Menus
There are many commands in the Menus category of flash media components. The various components which can be purchased are drop menu, scroll menu, 3D menu, bounce menu, iconbar menu, slide menu, zoom menu and text menu. Each of these commands has their own specialty which makes them outstanding. These are basically used to improvise the current system of the Flash websites which were designed without using the Flash loaded components.
Drop menu is a command which works with Extensible Markup Language (XML). This command is used for creating sub levels in the main menus. That is, they help in creating vertical or horizontal two level menus in websites. This command would be very useful for those who build huge websites discussing about various categories and sub categories. In a way, they also make websites look simple and organized.
Another command is the 3DMenu. It is used to create a three dimensional menu or navigational system. These menus are created using mouse interactivity in Adobe Flash. This type of menus would not only have a three dimensional structure but would also be appealing to the users. The bulging 3D effect would not only compel the user to click on it but would also be very user friendly and easy to handle than the regular menus.
Bounce menu is a command which would help in creating menus either horizontally or vertically depending on the need and the style of the website. These Flash menus can be customized with custom cursors and bouncing effect.
The icon-bar Menu is a command that performs like Mac OSX icon bar. It is a docked icon menu system which acts based on the mouse movement. It interacts with the mouse and based on the interaction it moves and magnifies.
Scroll menu can be purchased and used dynamically with ActionScript. This command would be very useful to create dropdown menus which are scrollable. This would really be something different and appealing in the website. The best thing is that no script would be involved in this action.
Slide menu is a purchasable command which can be used in situations where there would be a necessity to expand the limited space of the application. Text menu is a command which can used to give a different shape to the content of your website. This is completely customizable and comes with seven built in effects. Zoom menu is a command which would help you to develop complex systems.
All these commands can be used effectively to make the website unique and sophisticated.
