Normally this will include of various financial documents such as a pay slip, statement of account, bank statement and many more. Also, you will be required to submit an application form which has been provided by the lender and a hardship letter. This letter should contain your current financial condition, the reasons why this occurred and what steps you are taking in order to resolve this issue. After you have compiled the requirements, it is time for you to submit it to the bank.

If you submit a complete application requirement, the bank will be more pleased because they do not need to keep asking you to submit an additional document. This will make the processing time of your application a lot faster as compared to the otherwise situation. After submitting, you have to wait until the lender will get in touch with you. In addition, the lender may sometimes perform a physical inspection of your home's interior. You should allow them to enter your home as this will reflect in your application. This rarely happens though.

You have to be patient with this because there are also several other people applying for a loan modification. It may sometimes take a minimum of three months just for your application to be approved. Although the loan modification process can take a bit time and some waiting on your part, you have to be patient with it because after all, it may be your last help left in avoiding a foreclosure on your beloved home.
