You can say that you are successful if you have spiritual growth and developed a good relationship with your creator. Material success includes entrepreneurship and career.

To some people, success is one evasive goal. In quest for it, they have read thousands of books on how to be successful. They have sought the expertise of most successful icons and personalities of the world. But too often than not, success is a personal struggle, countered with a personal choice of strategies.

Success should begin on your mind. Your thinking faculty should be conditioned that you will become successful in your course of action. The proverb “What your mind conceives, your body can achieve” is not for the unbelievers. When your mind focuses on your goal, all your bodily systems follow toward that goal.

You must have realistic goals. If you are not familiar with a personal development plan, it is best to start having it. Set your plan on how to be successful. A personal development plan contains only your realistic goals.

There are three types of realistic goals that you should aim for. These are short-term, mid-term and long term goals. Each of these goals must complement each other, supporting your goal of becoming successful.

Writing down your goals in life is not enough. It neither makes you rich nor close to success if you do nothing about them. You have to work for their achievement. Choose your strategies well. For example, if you want to be a successful internet marketer, you need to study its principles and mechanics.

Your methodologies include having a course on business development. Studying the subject you wish to be a master of, allows you to know its other elements such as strategic planning and marketing analysis. On the web are thousands of e-books and software developed to answer the familiar question: how to be successful in most aspects in life. They are helpful supplementary tools for your endeavors.

Another proverb aimed at a “how to be successful” course is “Winner never quits, quitter never wins.” As mentioned earlier, the path to success is never always straight. Taking turns is a matter of choice; but be prepared that whether you turn left or right or not at all, there shall be traps and obstacles to hinder your journey.

Perseverance is the key. This trait is advised by most books on how to be successful. It is an important tool mentioned in seminars, webinars, and workshops on becoming successful in your course of action.
