Bozeman Has Large Variety of Bus Tours for Visitors

The main attraction for Bozeman is the Bozeman Trail, named after John Bozeman. In 1863, Bozeman served as a wagon master and trail guide, but recognized this area as a prime farming area as well as a central supply stop for miners of the gold rush. Bozeman guided wagon trains through the trail he discovered.

Rich in history, Bozeman, Montana offers many activities, sites and tours to visitors. One such site is The Emerson Center which is an Arts and Cultural Landmark in the area. In what began as a grade school in 1918, the renovated building now houses the Emerson Center. Bozeman offers historical walking tours of the community also. Starting at the Pioneer Museum at 317 W. Main Street, join the Main Street Tour and become familiarized with an array of buildings dating from numerous period in the history of Bozeman. Currently, almost 700 of the National Register of Historic Places can be found within Bozeman. You can also join the Neighborhood Tour and enjoy a stroll through some of the historic neighborhoods of Bozeman. Your tour will include everything from farmhouses to Victorian mansions. If you'd prefer, you can join the Sunset Hills Cemetery Tour that meets at the main gate on Buttonwood Drive in Lindley Park. This tour offers visitors information on the early residents and some of the more prominent community members of Bozeman. Information is shared through the names and dates of the headstones as well as the inscriptions.

If you're looking for something a little slower to do, you might want to think about the Agricultural Tour offered in Bozeman. You'll enjoy the family farm focus this tour has as you visit the area around the Gallatin Valley and see the treasures this land has in store for you.
