Age is always a factor that has to be considered, many of the liposuction treatments are to deal with the effects of aging, if the skin is too loose or wrinkled this means it doesn’t have a lot of elasticity and liposuction treatment might not be as effective. If the treatment is carried out anyway it might later have to undergo another procedure whereby the loose skin is tightened.

Liposuction should not be viewed as an alternative instead of exercise and dieting. If after exercising you still have unsightly pockets of fatty tissue that won’t move, then liposuction could be for you. Liposuction is not a replacement for weight reduction or a cure for obesity.

Liposuction is a very successful procedure and the majority of people who undergo the treatment are happy with the results. Results are immediately noticeable and the outcome pleasing. Recovery time after liposuction is minimal too.

Liposuction is generally seen as a safe procedure, but always be informed of the risks as with any surgery risks will be involved. A good surgeon will always ensure you are clear regarding any information you need.

A skilled and experienced surgeon will take every aspect into consideration before agreeing to perform liposuction on you. Always check how many times they have performed the Liposuction treatment and ask for references before making your final decision.
